Michael E. S. Gayed

Michael brings with him over 13 years of portfolio management experience. Mr. Gayed was a founder, and former President and Chief Investment Officer of a registered institutional investment advisory firm, which managed large-cap and small-cap growth portfolios. He previously served as Senior Market Analyst at Merrill Lynch. A former engineer at IBM and Xerox, Mr. Gayed is also an accomplished author who wrote two books on the stock market: "Challenge of a Generation, Beyond the Crash of '87" (1989), and "Intermarket Analysis and Investing" (1990). He has also lectured extensively on investment analysis and portfolio structuring at the New York Institute of Finance, Merrill Lynch Training School (Princeton), St. John's University, New York University, and the University of Arkansas. Mr. Gayed received his MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business in 1980 and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) and of the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR).
